What We Do...

The Animal Control Shelter Advisory Committee is appointed by the Law & Courts Committee to 2 year terms.

The Animal Control Shelter Advisory Committee was  established  to work with the Ingham County Animal Control to:

  • better the shelter
  • improve conditions
  • adopt more animals
  • seek outside grant funding
  • increase outreach, work with volunteers
  • improve policies such as the spay/neuter policy
  • make other recommendations to the Ingham County Board of Commissioners.
